You were told who you needed to be to succeed — and you obliged. You worked for the degree, the title, the seat at the table — perhaps twice as hard. You learned what the room wanted to hear — and how they wanted to hear it from you. Now you're so good at it, it feels like a reflex. And you're succeeding. But has the real you ever really arrived?
We exist in service of Black professionals. They are our center. We help bring them home — back to their center — so they know they belong in every room. Without masking. Without minimizing. Without trying to fit a script that wasn't written for them.
Not therapy. Not coaching to help you perform better in rooms. The work of taking the pen back and reclaiming authorship over your life.
We also work with practitioners who serve Black professionals — coaches, therapists, mentors — who want to make the rooms they're in performance-free. So your clients know that the room you share is a place they belong.
The collection offers you opportunities to explore who you want to be, what you want to do, and how you want to live. Examine what is most important to you: what it means to be whole, how to practice happiness, where you can minimize harm, how to talk about it and be about it, and how you and your village can start living in joy.
But more on that later.
We're building this in the open as evidence that we want to talk and be about it. You're catching us at the beginning, and that is by design. We're letting you in on the build — before things are fully baked — and giving you a voice in our design.
Two ways to stay close: follow along, or raise your hand as a Day One — the inner circle I'm building this whole thing with.
